Silks Country Kitchen has been a family-run restaurant since 1995, when Virginia Dempsey first opened its doors with a simple goal in mind: to create a place where people could enjoy good, honest food in a welcoming and comfortable setting. Over the years, that vision has remained at the heart of everything we do.
Today, the restaurant is proudly operated by Virginia’s children, Joel Dempsey and Jennifer Phelan. They continue to build on the foundation their mother created, bringing the same attention to detail, consistency, and care to both the kitchen and dining experience. You’ll often find the next generation, Avery and Nolan Phelan keeping the family tradition strong and present in the day-to-day life of the restaurant.
